Playtime with Cindy was established in January 2018 by Cynthia Villacreses. It's mission is to offer moms support by creating a safe and nurturing environment for their toddlers, enabling moms to take a much needed break. Located in the wonderful town of Trumbull, our home based environment provides children a sense of comfort and familiarity, which fosters positive developmental growth, new friendships and fun memories.
Cindy was born and raised in New York. Due to her personal interest in her children's development and her fundamental understanding of the importance of play based education, she sought to find a home with a large playroom and plenty of outdoor space for her kids to run and explore. She found the perfect home in Trumbull and moved here in May 2015 with her husband, Jack, and her two sons Zach (6yrs) and Max (3yrs). She enjoys watching her sons flourish and is delighted to say they couldn’t be happier.
Cindy instantly loved Trumbull and all it has to offer! However, she quickly noticed the need for a place for her non preschool aged children to grow and learn without her. Yes, she loves Mommy and Me classes but really, for her, it’s Mommy and Me all day everyday! Part of her sanity back in NY came from having a playgroup that allowed her to drop off her first son and spend quality time with her newborn or time to take much needed nap!
Cindy knows the struggle first hand of not having family near by to run to the rescue when you’re having an off day or feeling guilty about being a stay at home mom yet needing a break from the kids. For those reasons and so MANY more she decided to start Playtime with Cindy. She loves making kids happy and watching how their faces light up with excitement when they've mastered a new skill or discovered a new toy. She spends hours developing activities that expand on skills they have already acquired, encouraging their minds to grow. Here at Playtime with Cindy you can trust that you’re little one will feel comfortable, loved and have a blast!
